The choir’s repertoire spans many styles, periods and genres, from Tudor anthems to contemporary arrangements of folk songs and spirituals. If there is one particular period that the choir has an especial interest in, it is British music of the early 20th century, and this is reflected in the Church music which they regularly perform in services in Cathedrals and Churches throughout the country.
The directorship is shared between Suzanne Edwards and Tim Mills. Suzanne has been involved with choral music in Mid Wales for many years, having sung with the Hafren Ladies Choir and Mid Wales Opera, and more recently with Nantwich Choral Society and the Lydian Singers, Cheshire. She has been conducting for 26 years – mixed, ladies and male voice choirs along with community singing projects. Professionally Suzanne is a Design Consultant to the textile industry, having set up her own business in 2016. Tim Mills is currently Director of Music at The Glasgow Academy, and is much in demand as an organist, accompanist and recitalist. A graduate of University of Wales College Bangor, Tim has been Assistant Organist at St. Asaph Cathedral and Master of the Music at Shrewsbury Abbey.
Quindici enjoy performing in concert as well as leading church and Cathedral services, and have established a reputation for innovative programming. They also enjoy competing, and have had many successes over the years. Plans for the future include a second CD recording, the first Even Such Is Time having been released in 2011, and they have concert bookings into 2017.
